Our Courageous Conversations are an opportunity to discuss DEI-topics in a vulnerable and deep way. Hosted by our ERGs during their monthly takeovers, we’ve opened up about topics like self-advocacy, suicide awareness and parenting challenges, and more.

Courageous Conversations

Our Courageous Conversations are an opportunity to discuss DEI-topics in a vulnerable and deep way. Hosted by our ERGs during their monthly takeovers, we’ve opened up about topics like self-advocacy, suicide awareness and parenting challenges, and more.

Thumbtackers receive a $1,000 USD ($1,400 CAD / PHP 46,600.00) annual stipend to support their remote work health, including professional development, conferences, self-care activities and more.

Remote work support

Thumbtackers receive a $1,000 USD ($1,400 CAD / PHP 46,600.00) annual stipend to support their remote work health, including professional development, conferences, self-care activities and more.

We offer robust parental and caregiver leave as well as family-forming benefits for full-time employees. Parents receive up to 12 weeks of parental leave, and birthing parents may receive up to 8 additional weeks (US). We also offer 100% of pay up to 20 weeks (CAN) and 105 days for birthing parents (PH).

Looking back on her career journey, Stephanie says getting your foot in the door is the first step toward success. “Early on, there’s a lot of talking yourself out of things,” she says. “I thought if I didn’t have a tech background, no one in tech would hire me. But I know now that no employer expects you to meet all job criteria.” Stephanie credits her sister as a great mentor who always challenged her to put her name in the hat.
